RECA Benefits

The REC Act provides provides benefits for private citizens or workers who were exposed to nuclear testing and the uranium industry.

RECA Benefits Covered Areas

$100,000 RECA Benefits Compensation

You or a loved one may qualify for $100,000 tax free compensation under RECA if you were a uranium miner, miller, or ore transporter.

Those who qualify for the $100,000 compensation may also be eligible for Part E Compensation of EEOICPA. For more information on EEOICPA Compensation, visit our EEOICPA Compensation Page.

$75,000 RECA Benefits Compensation

On-site participants at atmospheric nuclear weapons are eligible for $75,000 tax free compensation.

Those who qualify for the $75,000 compensation may also be eligible for Part E Compensation of EEOICPA. For more information on EEOICPA Compensation, visit our EEOICPA Compensation Page.

$50,000 Downwinder Benefits Compensation

You or a loved one may be eligible for Downwinder $50,000 tax free compensation if they lived downwind of the Nevada Test Site.

Downwinders are not eligible for additional compensation under EEOICPA Part E.
