Town Hall Meetings hosted in Florida to learn about nuclear weapon workers compensations.

Next week the Department of Labor will be hosting four  Town Halls for former, retired, and current nuclear weapons workers who now live in Florida. If you or a loved one worked at an SEC Approved Site, please attend one of the Town Halls to learn what benefits you or your loved one may be eligible for.

“We believe there are many former, retired and current nuclear weapons workers living in Florida eligible for benefits in this program, but they haven’t filed a claim.” Said Malcom Nelson, ombudsman for Energy Employees Occupational Illness Compensation Program.

During each of the meetings, federal representatives will explain the program as well as host a question-and-answer session for the audience members. This is a great opportunity to have any questions you have regarding EEOICPA Claims, approved SEC sites and time periods, and explain the benefits that may be available to you.
