EEOICPA Covered Facilities
The Energy Employees Occupational Illness Compensation Program, EEOICPA, generally only applies to workers from certain Department of Energy facilities.
Some of these facilities have classes of workers that are consider a Special Exposure Cohort (SEC). Workers that are part of an SEC class have a simpler and often quicker path to potential compensation for Part B and Part E claims. If the facility has an SEC class that has been recently added, workers who have been previously denied may be able to successfully pursue their claim now.
